"And with the awful realization that New York was a city after all and not a universe, the whole shining edifice that he had reared in his imagination came crashing to the ground. [...]

Thus I take leave of my lost city. Seen from the ferry boat in the early morning, it no longer whispers of fantastic success and eternal youth. [...]

So perhaps I am destined to return some day and find in the city new experiences that so far I have only read about. For the moment I can only cry out that I have lost my splendid mirage. Come back, come back, O glittering and white!"

Okay, so I have this paper to write. About Room with a View. And I have to find out what the fuck this painting is that Cecil is standing in front of in the movie. In the National Gallery. Goddammit. The prof said I could find the info in an article. Only, I didn't find it and I feel like he's going to give me a bad grade if I don't find it out... *sobs*

So, how desperate can you get? I know it's in the National Gallery in London. And what am I doing. Yes... I'm clicking through every goddamn painting, hoping to find the right one... I'm so miserable...

*click*click*click*click*

*yawns*

On the other hand, this reminds me why I love the National Gallery so much... This is one of my favorite paintings there. The Execution of Lady Jane Grey. I don't know why it captures me so. It's HUGE. I love it so much. I can spend hours sitting in front of it.

*click*click*click*click*

Oh!! OH!!!! I think I... ack, no.... Damn it... it looked so much like it, with that white horse in the middle and all... *sighs*

Boring...

Boy, this sure is scientific work, isn't it...

*screeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaams*

I found it!!!!!!! I don't believe it!!!!!!! THERE IT IS!!!!

*bounce*bounce*bounce* Oh my... how cool...

Hail to the conquering heeeeero!!!! *laughs*

*watches new George Michael video*

How could anyone ever NOT think George Michael is gay? This absolutely beats me. I've always known. Then again, my gaydar seems to be more sensitive than more people's.

Hm... okay, I don't really see what the fuss is about. I mean, the video is kinda freaky, but not that bad. Maybe it's the yaoi-lover on me. Seeing people on leashes doesn't really shock me... *shrugs*
