Wow... my brother's present actually was rather insightful. I mean, usually he gives me a poster, because the poster seller dude always comes to his U before xmas. And usually this poster is really crappy, like... I got this stupid looking dog some years ago that said "Don't worry, be happy". Ugh. Needless to say, I never put those up. However, the one he gave me this year I actually liked! *snerks* It's a Gorillaz poster! Yay! Plus, he gave me a Harry Potter dictionary. This is pretty cool, I think.

I got a nice booky from Fleur *hugs you*. My mom gave me tons of chocolate frogs, in reminiscence of the huge fight I had with my bro over his (which he still hasn't opened btw... grrr). My dad gave me a mythology book which I already have (and he should know that since I used to carry it around all the frigging time :-/... ah well, it the thought that counts!). And I got a Harry Potter calender. It's nice, the drawings. At least it's the movie characters and not those ugly WB illus... yucky. The only thing that pisses me off is that it has no Snapeypooh BUT this weird gnome/trol/whatchamacallit thingy! The fuck? Talk about great planning. At least it's August. Won't be in my flat much in August, so I don't have to see it! *rolls eyes*

I think that was it... Hmmm... Oh wait, I got the 70s Barbie, too, but since I've kinda chosen it myself...

Heh... Christmas eve was wonderful. I mean, it was peaceful for once! We didn't yell at each other, or get too stressed out. Since its my bro's birthday, we let him decide what he wanted to eat and he picked sushi. So he and I spent an hour or so in the kitchen rolling up the sushi. But it was very funny. We talked and had fun. It was cool. We created some sushi of our own, because we had to get rid of some ingrediences! hahahaha! And then later we gathered around the table in the dining room, had the sushi, drank white wine... it was very nice indeed. I got teary-eyed a couple of times. Because of the musabi. FUCK, it's spicey! And I think I'm addicted to surimi... hmmmmmmm....

Later, we sat in the living room and talked and had fun and then we played one of then cardgames my bro got and it was generally very pleasant. ^_^

What was funny was Sherlock! Needless to say, he was confused as hell about all this christmassy stuff. He ran in and out of the room a couple of times. Then, when we were carolling, he sat right smack in the middle of the room and listened. Okay, he looked rather disgusted, but he looked nonetheless. Then, as we were opening the presents (we always do it on Xmas eve), he hid under the table. And then, later, when we were inspecting our presents, he chose that box of amazon.com where my bro had kept his presents and sat down in it. It was way too small for him, but he tried to fit in with a look of defiance. That was soooo cute!

Nice evening... Funny, since I was thinking while I was getting dressed how I prefer New Year's Eve to Christmas Eve. Because Xmas always is so embarrassing... trying to get along, giving presents, feeling stupid about it and all that... I don't much dig it. At least on New Year's Eve you can get drunk and enjoy yourself. Well, this time it was really nice. Does that mean New Year's Eve is going to be terrible??? ó_ò
