Today it a landmark in history! A truly wonderful day! Today Germany's government legalized gay marriage!!!! Can you believe it? I sure don't... too much to hope for. Just a day before I was so sad and bitter about the prospect never to be able to be with my girlfriend and now this! So unexpectantly, but yet so wonderful... We get the residence permit! Fate smiles upon us! ^_^

I still fear that I could open the newspaper in a few days and see that the conservative opposition overruled the decision. They threatened to do so. But until then I will be satisfied to dream a forbidden dream... I'm really happy. Reeling with excitement, you could say. I'm going out celebrating tonight! And then I'm going to call up all my gay friends and cheer! ^_^

I need to tell my girlfriend at once... Oh wow...
