My LJ Disclaimer: A couple of things you should know about me and this journal: Right now I'm posting mostly 'friends only'. This might change again at some later date but currently I just don't feel the need to bare my innermost feelings to every random person who happens to surf by. Of course this creates a series of problems, most noteably that people assume they know me based to on public entries they see. Don't. Even if you see my friends-locked entries you don't really know me unless you've talked to me personally at some point or the other. I realize that it's difficult for others to get to know me and decide to add me. I guess that's a chance you have to take. I might friend you back, I might not. I might add you and let you read my entries, but I might not bother to read yours. That doesn't mean I think you're boring or not worth my time. I might also decide to defriend you again when I feel like there's no reason for us to keep each other on the friends lists, like when we never comment on each other's entries and it looks like we just forgot that we have the other one friended. I'm constantly trying to keep my friends list organized, but I'm doing a very bad job at it. I won't like it if you defriend me out of the blue, especially when I've read and enjoyed your LJ and we have commented on each other's entries occasionally. I'll learn to deal with it, of course, but I won't like it. I realize that I'm being a little hypocritical about this. I'm working on that, too. Don't assume that by reading my LJ you no longer need to talk to me and maintain a friendly relationship. You have no clue what's going on with me unless you bother to ask. I'm using filters for different levels of personal information that I reveal to people. You will never see me reveal anything too personal publicly and I very much appreciate it if you don't either. Same goes for entries that are friends-locked and appear to be very personal. Congrats, I'm allowing you to see them, so don't abuse my trust by repeating what you've read somewhere else. Now that you've read and hopefully understood this: don't hate me. I'm not half as bitchy and bitter as this sounds, but I've been around LJ for far too long. I hope we get to be friends.
