Meow!
I need help from you guys! I know there are lots of uber-slashfens around who also know the old shows (George?). I've just watched a music vid that had SO many scenes and I don't know a bunch of them! But I wanna know! There seem to be some extremely slashy moments in those old shows! For one, I had NO idea Starsky and Hutch were THAT gay. I must admit, I mostly know about them from reading "Textual Stalkers" by Henry Jenkins. I've seen very few episodes. I thought most of this was wishful thinking, but DAMN! Is that eh... one of them (whoever is Starsky and whoever is Hutch) bending down the other one in a dramatic kiss?? What the hell is going on? If you want specifics of what series is what scene I can try to do a run down for you.
I want to see whatever show that John Glover was in, he was lovely!!!
That was a lovely and highly slashtastic video. I don't know some of those really 60's looking shows. I want to say Maverick or Get Smart or something but I don't think it's either.

You don't know Starsky & Hutch? o.o I mean, I don't know them well but I know they were one of the first slash couples really, among Kirk / Spock and Man from U.N.C.L.E. They're going to remake it with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson and they already said it's going to have homoerotic tendencies, so we're not the only ones to see this! XD

Unfortunately being at work at the moment I can't watch the video but here's what I remember....
1. It's Duncan Macleod - He and Methos are the usual Highlander slash pairing...
2. Errr...can't remember John Glover off hand...sorry...
3. Can't remember which bit this was either but Starsky and Hutch were always hugging and almost kissing...that's why we like them!
4. This must be Duncan and Hugh Fitzcairn from Highlander...Duncan is the one pushing...Fitz is the one falling off...
5. Not sure on that without seeing the video...what do they look like?
6. Can't tell you who the two are beforehand without watching the vid again but the two kicking in the door are Bodie and Doyle from the Professionals...another excellent buddy cop slash ridden show...
7. That's taken from an episode of S&H where Starsky goes undercover as a dance instructor. The scene is at the end of the episode where Hutch makes a comment about Starsky's undercover character and Starsky then 'dips' Hutch to prove that he's still got the touch!!
8. Yep, that's Nicholas Lea in a show called 'Once a Thief' playing a character called Victor Mansfield (Vic). The other guy is Mac Ramsey, played by Ivan Sergei.
9. I don't really watch it but I'm pretty certain that they're from the West Wing...one is Martin Sheen as the president...
10. That must be Duncan and Methos' first episode together...Methos offers Duncan his head because he would rather that Duncan had it than the immortal who was hunting him. Duncan refuses so Methos tries to push him into a fight.
11. Sadly, I can't tell without watching the video again or getting a description but I'll post again tonight to let you know

1. I think you are probably talking about Kronos - he's the guy who gets up in Methos' face...
2. This isn't a slash pairing I've ever read but I'm fairly certain that it's from a show called Brimstone. John Glover played the Devil!
5. My video times are slightly different to yours but I think that in fact both of these questions refer to Bodie and Doyle - they're the guys who kick the door in but they're also on screen for about 5 secs previous to that as well
11. I think...again my times are different...but if you mean the guy being pushed in a sled that's from Due South in its later seasons with Callum Keith Rennie as Ray Kowalski being pushed by Benton Fraser, played by Paul Gross. If you mean the guy hugging someone that's Richard Dean Anderson playing Jack O'Neill in Stargate SG-1 hugging Michael Shanks who plays Daniel Jackson.

I was about to say "That's not Methos! o.o" So, all is fine! *g* Bodie and Doyle. Are those The Professionals I keep hearing about? Oh, and yes I meant the guy being pushed on the sledge. I didn't know who the other guy was. I've only watched the first seasons of Due South and then kinda stopped so I only heard of Ray K but never actually saw him.
