I hate Gator. Those pop-ups are so annoying and it's really a nuisance should you ever happen to install it accidentally. I was just forced to close a huge pop-up via taskmanager where they explained in great detail why it is so extremely important to press "yes" next time they request to install their software.

I feel like the conversation went like this:

"Do you want to install our nice software?" - no
"Are you sure you don't want this FREE software?" - yes
"Did you know that installing this software can increase your system's performance considerably?" - no
"We're going to give you another chance. Do you want to?" - no
"Not installing this software may cause serious damage to your system. Are you sure?" - yes
"Come on... don't be that way. Install?" - no
"Fine. Then screw up your system. I don't care!" - ok

I've got gator too! it sucks! & you can't uninstall it or delete it! I can't even move the damn thing! GAh! I swear, Well thanks to Tom i've stopped it. Zonealarm is very helpful

If it won't uninstall or move or anything, try getting AdAware.
It's very good software, Free, and can get rid of Gator and many other nasties.
