Cool survey found in
pistorius's LJ...
This survey is really nice...
1. Name:
Silver
2. If there are 3 wells (love, beauty, and creativity) and you can drink from one of them, which would you choose?:
Creativity, of course.
3. Do you wish on stars?:
No, why should I?
4. Would you kill someone?:
No. Death wouldn't satisfy my need for revenge. There are so many things worse than death...
5. Virgin or not?:
Nope, in no meaning of the word.
6. Who are you jealous of?:
Don't want to tell.
7. Who would you marry?
Well IF I was going to marry I'd marry
tomkayito, but right now I wouldn't marry at all, because my solidarity forbids me that. In a world where people celebrate Marriage Protection Week nobody with a liberal mind should get married. Out of sheer protest. Eh... *looks around* /rant. Sowwy.
8. Do you think that the people on the Gap commercials are cool?:
I've never seen one o.o.
9. If you were another person, would you be friends with you?:
Probably not. I've always come to dislike people who were too similar to me.
10. Are you a daredevil?:
I often don't stop to think and just do it and I don't read manuals, so I guess I am. :-P
11. Has an M&M ever melted in your hand?:
No, it never stayed there long enough! XD
12. Have you ever told a secret that you swore you wouldn't repeat?:
No. Never.
13. Do you pray?:
Yes.
14. Have you ever met anyone famous?:
Yes I have actually. Come to think of it, these surveys sucks when you only answer yes or no. So maybe I should try to be more specific in my answers. *thinks hard* Urgh, I know I've met famous people, but right now my brain's a mush right now. I've met Siegfried & Roy! :-P And others. But I don't recall right now. Does chatting with Patricia Nell Warren count as well?
15. Do you think there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?:
LOL no. But there's a pool where trolls are bathing in... >_>
16. How do you vent anger?:
Scream, rant at friends, post to LJ, draw.
17. Are you trendy?:
In my own special way, yes.
18. Are you passive or aggressive?:
Depends on the situation. I can be both. Most of the time I just don't care though.
19. Who is your second family?:
My friends.
20. Do you trust others easily?:
No, definitely not. Although I tend to be a sentimental jackass and I'm horribly gullible. I fall for every stupid prank. But in terms of real trust, no.
21. What was your favorite toy as a child?:
Oh, let me think... Probably my dollhouse. I still love dollhouses. It's in my genes. And everything that had some sort of shop structure. I should have become a merchant...
22. What class in school did you think was totally useless?:
Well, that's tricky. I hated a lot of them (can you say math?), but I'm not saying they were useless. I hated geography, too, and now I wish I had learnt more about it! ^_^;;; I didn't like Physical Education either, but it's not useless either because it's good to move your body. Hm... I don't really think anything you learn at school is useless. Knowledge is power. Okay, maybe some forms of advanced math were quite useless. They don't help me with my life now and they really gave me cramps.
23. What is the punch-line to your favorite joke?:
Er, uhm... let's just take any joke. I'm not pathetic enough to have a favorite one... "Good, because I DIDN'T!!!"
24. Do you think your life so far has been good?:
Hm... I guess. I'm not living in poverty, I've got nice things, friends... of course I've got things I wish for and I'm often depressed and sad, but yes, I think it has been good.
25. Which was your best Halloween costume?:
The Statue of Liberty
26. Have you ever been on radio or television?
Yes to both. I've been on television a couple of times when I was still in that dance group and I've been interviewed for the radio when I was in a children's theater group. We played Jungle Book ^_^;;;.
27. Do you keep a diary besides LJ?
Hm, not really. I just post privately when I want to write something really private, but usually I don't anyway. I'm pretty open.
28. Have you ever intentionally hurt another person?:
Not physically, but I've certainly said things before knowing they'd hurt the other one.
29. Have you ever been in a mosh pit?:
LOL yes. It was a horrible experience, but also strangely enticing. I think you can only fully enjoy it when you're drunk or high on drugs. Or maybe I just can't get into it enough. I hated being bumped into my idiots going crazy and when 30k people press against your ribcage it can knock out the strongest ones among you. I've never fainted so far, but last time I was in a mosh pit I felt I could.
30. Do you feel understood most of the time?:
Not really, no. Sometimes I feel like my fingers don't move fast enough when I type or words have failed me. And I can never describe the images in my head.
31. Would you rather have a sore throat or an upset stomach?:
Sore throat I think. I can just not talk. You can't really escape the stomach.
32. What is the new saying that you've been using a lot?:
D'OH! It's not new but right now I'm saying it all the time! D'OH! It's annoying!
33. What is your all time favorite song?:
Aaaah there are so many nice songs. Let's just pick one. Oh yes! I loooooove Objects in the Rear-View Mirror by Meatloaf. It's not exactly my favorite song music-wise, but I love the story. It's a whole movie that's taking place in my head when I listen to it. Music inspires me. I also love Delilah Blue by Joshua Kadison.
34. What was the best Christmas present you received?:
Bleh I hate these superlatives. I've received lots of nice presents. I'd say the presents that were exactly what I wanted but didn't have to say that I wanted them to get them. Those were the best. Like my Sherlock Holmes DVD set I got from Tom for birthday *hearts both*.
35. Could you be a vegetarian?:
Not eating meat, no problem. I'm doing it already. I guess I probably could be vegan, but I'd really miss the milk. I love milk.
36. What word do you use when you think something is good?:
^_^!!!!!!!!!!!! *g* Verbal... probably "cool" or "great" or something equally as lame.
37. What band has the funniest name?:
Six Pence None The Richer. What the hell is that supposed to mean?
38. Would you ever bungee jump?:
Hm... *thinks* I have this thing for doing things that scare the shit out of me. I don't really have any desire of doing it, especially after I've looked down this bungee rack at the Verzasca valley... I'd probably die of fright and if I can avoid it no, I don't want to. But I probaby could do it when I've got enough motivation.
39. Do you untie your shoes every time you take them off?:
Well the ones I have that are tied are boots so I have to, otherwise I can't get out. So, yes.
40. Who is your favorite talented white rapper?:
LOL, funny question. I really like Eminem. *shrugs* Sometimes I think I shouldn't, but I like him. I've got all his albums. I suck.
41. Do you like beer?:
Oh yes, very much. Especially lager. I don't so much like dark beers, Guinness and the like. They're too stale and sweet and bleh. I'm not very font of wheat beer either.
42. Have you ever given money to a bum?:
Yes actually. I've given money and usually felt like a jackass afterwards, especially when I've seen them sitting around at the exact same spot weeks later. Then I think "Geeze... I have to work for my money, too. Maybe I should just sit around myself!" But then I feel guilty about thinking that... So, I try to stop giving money to bums who're just sitting around in cities, because those usually get so much money and then make bad use of it. I try to help them differently. I usually buy food for them. In NY I used my vouchers to buy free hamburgers for a couple of them. And I once gave a lady my gloves when it was winter.
Or that vagabond who was ringing at our door. He took off his hat, sang a cute song and then asked for anything I was willing to give. I was so moved that I gave him 5 bucks that I had in my pocket. Then we chatted a bit and he said he was trying to get to his sister for Christmas but he couldn't afford the ticket, so he was walking. I asked if he was sleeping outside which he confirmed and it was cold outside. I felt horrible. I told him to wait. Then I grabbed a lot of food from the larder to give to him. I still felt like it wasn't enough, so I ran upstairs and grabbed my old sleeping bag. I had gotten a new one recently so I didn't need it anymore. I gave it to him. For a second I had felt a little doubtful whether I should give it away or not. But the look on his face when he stuffed it into his bag... I'll never forget it. It was the right decision. He was so happy and I never needed it again anyway, so it was a good choice. Everybody should give away their old sleeping bags to homeless people.
43. What are you worried about right now?:
Right now... Bush fucking up the conservation laws and killing all these beautiful animals. I'm worried about Roy never recovering again. And I'm so worried about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow...
44. Do you ever wear overalls?:
Uh no. They's really uncomfy. When you need to use the bathroom you end up sitting there all naked. That sucks. And you can't move and bleh. No, I don't wear them.
45. Do you think you are strong (emotionally)?:
No, I don't think I am. I'm very emotional and I get depressed so easily. The only times I'm strong is when someone else is pressuring me. Then I usually get very cold.
46. Do you hate anyone?:
Yes, I'm sure I do, but I don't want to answer that.
47. Who is your Best Friend?:
My Tom and my Fleur.
48. Do you regret anything?:
Yeah there are a lot of regrets. I regret being the way I am, not able to let go. If I wasn't like that I could be learning so many nice things. And I regret not going for art school when I had the chance... *sigh*
49. Who do you love?:
Tom, my family, my pets, my friends, Sherlock Holmes, and an assorted number of famous people, writers and fictional characters.
50. What are you going to do next?:
Waste more time, work on my maps.
51. What is your favorite quote?:
"Mad, bad and dangerous to know" (and if anyone answering this poll from my answers and keeps this again I'm going to be mad, bad and dangerous. Get your own quote! *hiss*)
52. Have you ever considered a religious vocation?:
Not really, no. I'm very spiritual, but I couldn't devote my life to it. I'm too weak-minded for it.
54. What's your biggest dream/wish?
I want to be able to work creatively for a living, be respected and loved for that and have enough money to buy the things I want and travel a lot. And I'd like to have flexible working hours, if possible ^_^;.
55. What is the one modern thing you could never live without?:
My laptop. I heart it.
56. Have you ever done anything illegal?:
I've probably broken a couple of rules, parked where I shouldn't, driven down roads that I shouldn't... but really illegal, no. Well I've wished death upon certain people, but that's no illegal where *I* live. It's just bad karma. Gonna make up for it later.
57. Have you ever thought with another's head?:
I'm not sure what this means. I've heard voices in my head, if that counts...
58. What would you do if you were walking down the street and saw some hot guys/girls standing on the sidewalk?:
Erm, keep walking? What should I do? I'm not going to hit on random people. Not interested. I might look, but I really don't care usually.
59. What is the most important lesson you have learned about life?:
Don't dream it, be it.
60. What things are you afraid of most?:
Spiders, mould, death of people I love.
