Thanksgiving?

Where I'm from, Thanksgiving isn't custom. I don't even understand it properly, this holiday, since it seems to me that most people celebrating it, just like Christmas, don't really understand the true meaning of it either. And yet suddenly I feel like I do want to mention some things that I am grateful for. I don't want to jump on any bandwaggon and I don't want to spam everyone's LJ with public declarations of love. And yet I have so much to be gratetful for.

In no particular order:

I'm grateful for...

• ... having found someone so wonderful to stand by my side. I love my little tiger stud.


• ... having found two wonderful people who support me no matter what, Tom and Sabby.


• ... having great friends who are fun to talk to and keep me from being terribly bored all day, such as Fleur, Kei, Kris, Nico, Lil, Ian again Tom and Sabby and many more.


• ... having found such a wonderful friend like Fleur who always shows interest in what I do, who understands me and for some strange reason likes me O.o.


• ... having a great family. Even though they drive me nuts and I hate a lot of things they do, they still support me and I'm glad my parents still seem to be able to live together and actually still have love for each other, despite the things that happened.


• ... having a cute cat who's so pretty that everybody who sees him can't help but stop and stare, even though he's often nasty to me.


• ... being able to express myself creatively and having people around me who are interested in it and support me.


• ... being healthy. I may be a wreck with many different ailings and pains, but I'm not seriously ill, and I'm grateful for that.


• ... speaking two languages well enough to communicate with many wonderful people.


• ... being able to afford things I really want. I may often feel like I don't have enough money, but I'm still content in my own moderate dimensions.


• ... having the strength to smile when I think about X. And I'm grateful that I had the priviledge of calling him my friend for 10 years. I miss you, X.

Yes... that's all I can think of right now. *hugs*

eeeep. erm, since your NaNo is basically done with the NaNo stuff i don't have to read it by tomorrow do i. cos you're gonna add to it? i don't want to be a failed reader, but i have so much to catch up on...

I need to have it betaed eventually and I know I certainly won't be done with the whole novel by tomorrow, but don't worry, you don't havbe to stress yourself over it, okay? *hugs* Just relax. It's not that important.
