New Semagic

I got the updated version yesterday. It now comes with a toolbar. Very handy, but it gets bigger and bigger... Wish I could customize that. The good thing is that it now comes with a colorpicker. Been missing that for a long time. However, there are still two things that bother me a lot about the client. One is, that it always logs in automatically and I just don't know how to keep it from doing so. That way, I always get a dial-up request as soon as I switch on my computer, because I didn't manage to insert the LAN card yet. >_< The other thing is that the tab-key doesn't work when I want to switch around the current mood and music windows. That's annoying too. For the love of God, I can't find anything where I could change that.

Hmm, about the log-in thingy...I don't know if this works, but oh well...Start Semagic, then Logout [File -> Logout]. Then it gives the main login window, right? Uncheck Auto-Login and there you go!

Hm, no... that's not what I want. I want it to start by itself when the program is supposed to start. But I don't want it to run on start-up... hmmm...

Oooh...well okay, when I installed Semagic you could make it start at start-up, and you could turn that option off too. Maybe try to uninstall it, and then install it again? Then turn the option off. That should work.

No, that doesn't work either... No matter what I do, it seems to remember I used it! >_< When I deinstall it, delete all files associated with it and then reinstall it, it always logs in on its own... GAH!

Where did you download the new version? When I tried to redownload the older version, it told me that I wasn't allowed to view the page it was on. Luckily enough, I had kept the install programme on a CDR somewhere. Thank the Gods for my little spots of genius.

I went to the LJ main page, then Download, chose my version and it linked to the LJ from there where you could dl it. Lemme find the link... There. http://www.livejournal.com/users/ljwin32_sema/

When I downloaded Semagic it always loaded on Startup. I don't know what version Windows you have, I have Win98... I just went to Start>Programs>StartUp and dragged Semagic to Start>Programs>Disabled StartUp Items.
