Kaikan Phrase

Does anyone know this series intimately? It was recommended to me and I was checking some websites and somehow it looks suspiciously like... *shudder* het. I'm sorry, but I just don't like cheesy het romance. Is there anything REMOTELY shounen-ai about it? And I don't mean just a bunch of bishounen that are slashable. I mean some decent gay storyline. Anything? Hm?
